At 2idiots, We are committed to protecting Your privacy and handling Your data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled in the Flowave app, how it is used, and Your rights regarding Your information. By using the Flowave app, You agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. What Information We Handle

We collect and handle information in the following ways:

• Information Automatically Handled by the App (Stored Locally or via iCloud Private):
  • Service Usage Data: This includes Your Pomodoro timer usage count and related statistical information within the app.
  • App Preferences and Settings: Your customized timer settings and app preferences.
  • These data types are stored either locally on Your device or securely synced via Your personal Apple CloudKit Private Database. This means the data resides within Your iCloud account and is generally not accessible by Us in a way that allows Us to view or manage Your specific data from Our servers. We interact with this data only through the CloudKit framework on Your device to provide the app's functionality.
  • Anonymous Identifier: The App may use an anonymous device identifier generated by the operating system or the App itself solely for technical purposes such as managing purchase status across devices via iCloud or managing local data. This identifier does not directly reveal Your personal identity.
• Information You Voluntarily Provide (for Optional Services):
  • Email Address: If You voluntarily subscribe to the "Waveletter" (Our newsletter), We collect Your email address solely for the purpose of sending You updates and content related to Flowave and productivity.

We do NOT collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as Your name, physical location data (GPS), contact information, or create user profiles managed by Us. We also do not collect payment information; all transactions are handled securely by Apple.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information We handle solely for the following purposes:

• To provide and operate the core functionalities of the Flowave app, including storing and syncing Your timer settings and usage statistics via iCloud.
• To verify and restore Your premium purchases and manage Your access to paid features.
• If You have subscribed to the Waveletter, to deliver newsletter content to the email address You provided.

We do NOT use Your information for analytics, advertising, marketing unrelated to the Waveletter You subscribed to, or profiling purposes.

3. Sharing Your Information (Third Parties)

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer Your personal information to third par1ties for their marketing or advertising purposes.

• Service Providers: We use a trusted third-party service, Loops (https://loops.so/privacy), solely for the purpose of managing email subscriptions and delivering the Waveletter newsletter. If You subscribe to the Waveletter, Your email address will be securely stored and processed by Loops on Our behalf to send You the newsletter. Loops is contractually obligated to handle Your information in compliance with data protection laws and only for the purpose of providing their service to Us. We encourage You to review Loops' own Privacy Policy on their website.
